About Appointments
The Writing Center welcomes all UNC Asheville students and associates to the hub of campus intercurricular writing. Bring your work in for a one-on-one consultation with a knowledgeable writing consultant. We will work with you at any stage of your writing process from brainstorming a topic to drafting ideas and polishing grammar. Consultations last anywhere from 20-50 minutes. You can schedule an appointment for a consultation in any of the following four ways:
Online
Click on Schedule an Appointment and sign in with your UNC Asheville username and password. You will see our staff profiles and schedules. Click on the available time slot that you would like and follow the prompts.
By phone
Call 828.251.6596 during our open hours (see below).
By email
Send an email to writingcenter@unca.edu and let us know your preferred appointment time. We will reply to you within 24-48 hours to schedule an appointment.
In person
We are located on the main floor of Ramsey Library in room 136. Turn left at the Research Desk and right at the newspapers to find us during our open hours:
- Mon - Thurs 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
- Friday - 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
